We fly kites in our PJs (Easter 2013)

We usually do Easter baskets and egg hunts on Saturday.
That allows us to focus on the resurrection of Christ on Sunday.
However, half of us weren't home Saturday morning so we spread it out over Sunday and Monday instead. Yay for spring break!
Before going gluten-free we would make these rolls and talk about Jesus.
This year we made gf german pancakes and watched a bunch of new videos on lds.org with the kids.
As per tradition, the kids find one end of yarn tied to their bed in the morning.
They follow the yarn around the house to find their 'basket' at the other end.
Some years they get good stuff.
Some years they get old stuff 'recycled' into their baskets.
(Actually I almost always do that.)
Whatever. It's the hunt that matters.
I hate commercialism.
(And lest any of you think I favor my youngest child, he only appears the most often because he's the most cooperative.)

and egg coloring turns into kite flying (in our pj's of course)

frustrated kite flying turns into trampoline jumping

which turns into hilariousness

later on we had a good ol' BBQ

and an egg hunt

 and that's all folks.
